Dr Jamil Ahmed is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Ahmed undertook his Cardiology training at the Greenland Cardiovascular service in Auckland, New Zealand. He presently works at the Caboolture Public Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Ahmed has worked in areas of general cardiology, heart failure and echocardiography. His experiences include management of patients with:
- Heart failure
- Cardiac rhythm disturbance
- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Valvular heart disease
- Hypertensive heart disease
- Ischaemic heart disease
Dr Ahmed will provide general cardiology consultations, as well as exercise testing, echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and Holter monitoring.
