Dr Sannarangappa completed his MBBS at JJM Medical College of Danvangere, India in 1998.
Dr Sannarangappa later moved to the UK to further his studies as a junior medical officer eventually migrating to Australia in 2006. Following this move commenced his Australian career locally at the Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals and completed his basic physician training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Vishnu then moved to Adelaide where he completed his Endocrinology and General Medicine training at the Flinders Medical Centre. He eventually made his way to the northside of Brisbane.
In addition, Vishnu has worked as a lecturer in Medicine at the University of Queensland and Flinders University in Adelaide where he obtained various certificates of excellence in teaching. Presently he continues to work as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and continues his research. His participation, presentation and publication of research articles on endocrinology and other topics at various National and International conferences has been critically acclaimed and well received by veterans of the medical world.
In 2015, after moving back to Queensland, he commenced working on the northside of Brisbane at North Lakes Endocrinology, Caboolture Public Hospital, Caboolture Private Hospital. He has recently joined the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside as a Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician.
He enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing squash and reading books.
