Dr Jo Schoeman is a specialist Urologist with a special interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary incontinence and prostate cancer. He also has an interest in the endoscopic management of renal and ureteric calculi with laser and offers surgical management of prostate, bladder and renal cancers.
He obtained his Urology Fellowship in South Africa in 2003, and emigrated to Australia in 2007 where he acquired his Australian Fellowship in 2008.
Dr Schoeman moved to Brisbane to be a part of the Pelvic Medicine Centre at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, where he is a part of a Uro-Gynaecological practice focusing on all aspects of incontinence.
He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Urology Society of Australia and New Zealand, Uro-Gynaecological Society of Australia, International Uro-gynaecological Association and the Societe International d'Urologie.The scope of practice at Caboolture Private Hospital includes:
