Dr Joseph Schoeman is a specialist Urologist with interests in female and male incontinence, over active bladders and pelvic organ prolapse. He also has an interest in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and endoscopic management of renal and ureteric calculi with laser and offers surgical management of prostate, bladder and renal cancers.

Dr Joseph Schoeman is a specialist Urologist with interests in female and male incontinence, over active bladders and pelvic organ prolapse. He also has an interest in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and endoscopic management of renal and ureteric calculi with laser and offers surgical management of prostate, bladder and renal cancers.

He obtained his Urology Fellowship in South Africa in 2003, and emigrated to Australia in 2007 where he acquired his Australian Fellowship in 2008.

Dr Schoeman recently moved to Brisbane to be a part of the newly established Pelvic Medicine Centre at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, where he is a part of a Uro-Gynaecological practice focusing on all aspects of incontinence.

He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Urology Society of Australia and New Zealand, Uro-Gynaecological Society of Australia, International Uro-gynaecological Association and the Societe International d'Urologie.
